1. Make the outer ring template by first drawing a section of the outer table ring on paper, then copy the basic outline onto the bottom of a sheet of ¼ inch plywood.

2. Using a strip of ¼ inch plywood, swing arcs to show the inner circle of the table that will be covered in fabric and also the upper and lower arcs and the side edges of the chip tray.
